Frequently asked questions
I have never written a line of code. Where do I start?
Start on the “Complete beginners” track. It builds up from the basic ideas behind AI through to using the tools, and you do not need to write code yet.
Can I use AI for my homework, or is that against the rules?
It depends on each course's own rules. The principle we recommend is to use AI to help you learn rather than to submit work for you, and to cite it whenever you use its output. The ethics topic covers this in detail.
How do I share a project with everyone?
Post it on the community page: say what you built, where you got stuck, and what you learned. It does not have to be finished.
Is this open to students from other faculties?
It is open to UTCC students from every faculty. The material is designed so you can start without an engineering background.
